The Wilsus Tradenda 4G Wireless is very similar to the Snyper Commander 4G Wireless. However, this model features our own software and new and improved specifications. The wireless functionality makes this cameratrap ideal for observing remote places (e.g. bird's nest) and for security purposes (e.g. vacation home). It is also possible to send a text message to the camera and immediately see if the cameratrap is working properly. Additional specifications of the Snyper Commander 4G Wireless are:

The casing of the Wilsus Tradenda 4G Wireless is very similar to the Reconyx models. It has a robust camouflaged casing and is equipped with a clip on the right side, which gives access to the camera's control panel and AA battery compartment. The 2.0 inch internal color viewer allows you to see live the view of the cameratrap and to review captured images or videos directly in the field, which makes the set-up of the cameratrap a lot easier!
The Wilsus Tradenda 4G is available in two different lens types: the 60-degree zoom lens (more or less the standard) and a 100-degree wide-angle lens. Depending on the application and use, one lens is more comfortable than the other. For example, if you want to picture a vacation home in its entirety, the 100-degree lens will give you a much larger overview of the situation. However, if you want more detail of a specific point in the image, then the 52-degree zoom lens is more pleasant. In the product images are two examples showing the difference in image between the two lens types. Both lens types were placed in the exact same spot.

Since the summer of 2019 we have partnered up with Silvavir ecology consultancy. They perform standardized and objective reviews of trailcameras. We started this partnership to provide more insight into the differences and similarities between the cameramodels that are available on today's market, and to offer people a helping hand in choosing the right cameratrap. There is not yet at review for this particular model.
All camera traps are supplied with a nylon strap for mounting, but without any other accessories. However, to get started with your cameratrap right away, you need at least a set of batteries and an SDHC memory card. For this model, this is a standard SDHC memory card of at least Class 10, such as the Sandisk Ultra cards. Additionally, we recommend to use the Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries (not rechargeable), or the Panasonic Eneloop and Eneloop PRO rechargeable NiMH batteries. The advantage of the lithium batteries over the rechargeable Eneloop batteries is that the former are more resistant to winter temperatures. The disadvantage however, is that they are non-rechargeable. If you choose rechargeable batteries, think of the Everactive battery charger, in case you don't have a good battery charger in your house!
In addition to batteries and a memory card, there is a variety of other accessories available for this cameramodel.
