Cameratraps with WiFi functionality
Cameratraps featuring WiFi are able to connect to the existing WiFi network of your personal internet provider. There are currently few cameratraps that offer this functionality. In general, this functionality also offers the Bluetooth functionality. With the WiFi functionality it is possible to download the images to a special app on your phone or tablet from anywhere in the world (as long as there is internet connection), without the need for a sim card - and thus extra costs. Naturally, the cameratrap needs to be within reach of an existing WiFi network (e.g. your garden or vacation home). An additional advantage of the WiFi functionality is that you will still have access to all the obtained images, since they have been automatically forwarded to the app on your phone or tablet.
