The Vortex Diamondback HD 8x28 has an ultra-hard and scratch-resistant ArmorTrek coating. The non-slip grip makes the rubber casing easy to hold. The waterproof seal (by means of rubber rings) prevents the penetration of moisture and dirt and makes these binoculars truly waterproof. Besides that, the binoculars are gas-filled, which prevents internal condensation during high temperature fluctuations.
The Diamondback HD 8x28 is an excellent all-round pair of binoculars! However, if you are looking for binoculars with higher magnification, have a look at the Diamondback HD 8x42 of the Diamondback HD 10x50.
These binoculars come standard with a GlassPak carrying bag, comfortable carrying strap (neck), protective caps for the eyepiece and objective, and a cloth to clean the lenses.
For optimal comfort you may consider a harness, which distributes the weight of the viewer over your shoulders instead of your neck and keeps the viewer nicely in place. We also offer a cleaning kit to easily remove dirt and stains and keep all optical surfaces in top condition!
