The Vortex Diamondback HD 16-48x65 Spotting Scope has a waterproof and scratch-resistant ArmorTrek coating that provides the necessary protection. In addition, this scope is gas-filled, which prevents the formation of internal condensation during high temperature fluctuations. The Spotting Scope is equipped with a built-in focus wheel around the casing which allows for fast and accurate focusing on the animal or object in an ergonomic way. At the front, the Diamondback HD is equipped with an integrated lens hood which you can easily pull out to prevent the sun from penetrating the lens. The same hood also prevents rain and snow from falling on the lens, so you won't be bothered by these weather conditions.

This spotting scope comes standard with a neoprene protection case (with removable parts), protection cap for the eyepiece and the objective, and a cloth to clean the lenses. In addition, we offer a cleaning kit to easily remove dirt and stains and keep all optical surfaces in top condition!
Use a tripod! Because of the enormous magnification we strongly recommend you to use a tripod (e.g. High Country II Tripod Kit). This will keep the spotting scope in place, so your view will not be disturbed by the slightest movements.
