The Seissiger Special Cam LTE ''White Flash'' - Supersim Edition is a popular 4G wireless wildlife camera with a powerful white LED flash. The advantage of this model is that it comes as a complete set, with a prepaid SUPERSIM sim card (which can be used all over Europe), a 16GB memory card, a set of alkaline batteries, and a handy metal tree screw for attaching the camera to a tree or pole. Furthermore, this camera has a sufficiently fast response and recovery time, so the captured images are transmitted within 20-30 seconds to a special APP on your phone or tablet. The Seissiger Special Cam LTE ''White Flash'' housing feels robust and sturdy. The camera model has a sturdy camouflaged housing and is equipped with a locking clip on the right side, in which the AA batteries (12 pieces) and settings should be entered. The 2.0 inch built-in colour viewer makes it possible to see live what the wildlife camera is observing and images can be viewed directly in the field. Because the trail camera opens like a book, it is not possible to use the built-in viewer optimally for pointing the camera correctly in the field.

Would you rather be able to decide which sim card to use in your wildlife camera? Then take a look at the simlock free version of this camera, the Seissiger Special Cam LTE - Standard Edition. This is the same camera, but unlocked. Therefore, this camera can be equipped with any SIM card of your choice. The consequence is that the purchase price is considerably higher and that the Supersim platform cannot be used. Images are therefore simply sent directly to your email address. Another interesting alternative is the Wilsus Tradenda 4G WIRELESS. With this model, it is also possible to use any SIM card you want, so you are not tied to the rates and/or the app of Supersim. A big advantage of the Wilsus Tradenda 4G Wireless is that it is possible to send multiple photos of one motion tracker (with the Seissiger camera, only the first photo is sent). The advantage of this is that you often see much better where the movement (and thus the animal) is in the image, and you get more information about what is happening in front of the camera. In addition, the Wilsus Tradenda 4G Wireless is available in two lens versions; a standard lens version with a 52-degree field of view and a wide-angle version with a 100-degree field of view (the field of view of the Seissiger camera is quite narrow at 42 degrees). Finally, the Wilsus Tradenda 4G Wireless allows for more remote settings than the Seissiger Special Cam LTE.

The Seissiger Special Cam LTE ''White Flash'' - SUPERSIM Edition is offered as a complete set. This means that a SUPERSIM prepaid SIM card is included, as well as a 16GB memory card, and a set of 12 alkaline batteries. It also comes with a nylon strap and a handy little tree screw for attaching the camera to a pole or tree. In fact, you don't need any extra accessories to get started with your wildlife camera right away. However, you might consider ordering a slightly larger memory card (max 32GB for this model), or better batteries. For this camera we recommend using the Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries (not rechargeable), or the Panasonic Eneloop or Eneloop PRO rechargeable batteries. The advantage of the lithium batteries over the rechargeable Eneloop batteries is mainly that the former are more resistant to winter temperatures and that they last longer before they are empty. The disadvantage is that they are not rechargeable. If you opt for rechargeable batteries, then consider the Everactive battery charger in case you don't have a good battery charger at home!
