While the standard duty security enclosure is made of 1.6 mm thick steel, this heavy duty version is made of 3.2 mm thick steel. Thus, the material used for creating this heavy duty security enclosure is twice as thick as that used for the standard duty box, providing a better protection against demolishment, theft, vandalism, of damage by animals!
Reconyx security enclosures are supplied with 4 lagbolts so that the security box can be tightly mounted. Furthermore, the security box has special openings to allow for mounting with a Master Lock python cable. Master Lock Python cable locks are ideal for locking and mounting a security enclosure to a tree or pole, because the cable lock can be tightened all around the stem of the tree or pole. This makes theft almost impossible! Master Lock Python cable locks can be found under the category "accessories" in our shop.
