Panasonic Eneloop rechargeable batteries | Ideal for use in camera traps
In contrast to traditional rechargeable batteries, Eneloop batteries keep their charge much longer. After 5 years, an Eneloop battery still has 70% of its original charge. In addition, Eneloop batteries can be recharged up to 2100 times. This means that 1 Eneloop battery replaces 2100 alkaline batteries! Eneloop batteries are 4 times more powerful than normal alkaline batteries (such as the well-known Duracell battery), and Eneloop batteries can withstand low temperatures (down to -20°C) much better than alkaline batteries. Eneloop batteries come in two versions, the standard white Eneloops and the black Eneloop Pro version. The standard white Eneloops have a capacity of 2000 mAh while the Pro version has a capacity of 2550 mAh.
Panasonic Eneloop rechargeable batteries | The only battery you'll need
Eneloop combines the superior technology of modern rechargeable nickel metal hydride batteries with the advantages of conventional alkaline batteries. Right from the launch of the first LSD (Low Self Discharge) battery, the Eneloop brand became known all over the world and revolutionised the consumer rechargeable battery segment.
Panasonic Eneloop rechargeable batteries | Low Self Discharge - Use, charge, store
Eneloop batteries are usable immediately after purchase because they are sold pre-charged, they also retain their charge. They keep up to 70% of their charge after 5 years of storage. So your camera is always ready for use.
Panasonic Eneloop rechargeable batteries | More usable capacity
Eneloop maintains a voltage level of 1.1 Volts for a long period of time, and will only fall below this limit when at the end of its life cycle. Eneloop batteries have a voltage of 1.2V and a stated capacity of 2000 mAh for the standard version and 2550 mAh for the Pro version.
