In contrast to traditional rechargeable batteries, Eneloop batteries keep their charge much longer. After 5 years, an Eneloop battery still has 70% of its original charge. In addition, Eneloop batteries can be recharged up to 2100 times. This means that 1 Eneloop battery replaces 2100 alkaline batteries! Eneloop batteries are 4 times more powerful than normal alkaline batteries (such as the well-known Duracell battery), and Eneloop batteries can withstand low temperatures (down to -20°C) much better than alkaline batteries. Eneloop batteries come in two versions, the standard white Eneloops and the black Eneloop Pro version. The standard white Eneloops have a capacity of 2000 mAh while the Pro version has a capacity of 2550 mAh.
