This compact camera is perfect for placement in the garden or anywhere with WiFi or network cabling (e.g. aimed at a bowl of bird food, or aimed at the entrance opening of a nest box or at the hedgehog house in the garden). In combination with one of Green Backyard's nest box cameras, this camera can be used to generate an overall picture of the behaviour of birds around and in nest boxes and hedgehogs or other mammals in and around hedgehog houses or other enclosures. Of course, other applications are also conceivable! What is important about this model is that it is completely weatherproof and can therefore simply hang outside 24 hours a day, all year round. This outdoor camera features both a network connection and a WiFi receiver, allowing the camera to be directly connected to the available internet on site in both ways. If there is no internet on site, but you are within range of the camera with your phone or tablet, you can also connect directly to the camera and watch along with the camera. The power supply for the camera can run via the network cable (PoE technology; please note that this does require additional accessories!), meaning that ultimately only one cable needs to be laid to the camera location. Alternatively, this camera can be powered via a 12V mains connection. A 10-metre extension cable and a mains adapter are supplied as standard. This way, you can watch a live stream from the camera in the app belonging to the camera. Images can also be stored locally on the 64GB internal storage. Finally, the nest box camera automatically detects a change in the image and can send an alarm notification to the app on your phone based on this. So you will get a notification if something is currently in the image!
