This nestbox camera comes standard with a 12V AC adapter, a 10 meter long waterproof 12V extension cable, and the mounting hardware needed to place the camera in a nestbox, hedgehog shelter, etc.. Thus, it is important to have a power source and internet connection (WiFi in this case) on site, or at least near the camera. If the distance to the power point is further than 10 meters from the nestbox camera, you may want to order 1 or more 12V extension cables, in order to coop with the distance (the individual cables can easily be plugged together to generate a longer total length). If it is impossible to get a strong WiFi signal near the camera, there are alternative solutions, but these require a bit more research (think for example of solar panels or external batteries for extra power supply, or a 4G WiFi Hotspot or an additional Access Point for a stronger WiFi connection).
