Green Backyard IP Nestbox camera | The perfect nest box camera!

The Green Backyard IP nestbox camera is perfect for in a nestbox of almost all animal species. Of course other applications are possible, but the system is not completely water resistant, so it must be protected (preferably dry in a hutch or house). This version of the nestbox camera has a network connection, allowing this camera to be directly connected to an Ethernet cable (or network cable / UTP cable). The power for the camera is also supplied via the network cable (PoE technology) so there is no need for an extra cable. Alternatively, this camera can be powered with a 12V AC connection. However, no accessories are included with this option. Images can also be stored locally on a Micro SD memory card that can be inserted into the camera (available as an accessory, up to 128GB). The advantage of this is that the next morning (or days later) you can review the activity in front of the camera. Without a memory card you can only watch live what happens in front of the camera. The maximum capacity of this micro SD memory card is 128GB. Depending on the settings, this means the camera can store about 1-2 weeks of video before the oldest images are automatically overwritten. Finally, the nestbox camera automatically detects a change in the image and can send an alarm notification to the app on your phone. This nestbox camera is very compact (4.4x4.4x3.0 cm) and comes with mounting hardware to neatly mount the camera in the nestbox. The focus of the lens is manually adjustable by turning the lens and has an angle of view of 102 degrees. The camera comes with two network cables (one of 30 cm and one of 20 meter) and a special PoE connector to add power to the network cable. You place this between your router and the supplied network cable (if necessary).

This nest box camera comes standard with a 30 cm network cable and a 20 meter network cable. In addition, a PoE connector is included to add power to the network cable. You place this between your router and the supplied network cable (if necessary). Also, all the mounting materials are included in order to place the camera in a nesting box, hedgehog house, etc. It is therefore important to ensure an internet connection on site or at least in the proximity of the camera. If the distance is longer than 20 meters, you can use a longer network cable (up to a maximum of 100 meters is recommended). If this does not work, there are alternative solutions, but that requires some more research (solar panels or external batteries as a power supply are an option, and for the IP connection a 4G Router would be an option).
