These external battery kits extend the life of our wireless triggers by allowing each device to be powered by D or AA batteries. A new splitter cable is also available, allowing you to power a transmitter and receiver from a single battery pack. This is intended for when you need a wireless receiver to detect the signal from a wireless sensor and trigger the camera, plus a wireless transmitter in the camera's flash shoe to trigger flashes.
The D Battery Kit is available with a single cable or a splitter cable: The single cable can power a single Transmitter v2 or Receiver v2 with the 2xD battery pack. The splitter cable can be used to power two wireless triggers (e.g. a Transmitter v2 / Receiver v2 pair) with the 2xD battery pack. The D Battery Kit can extend the life of the Camtraptions Wireless Triggers v2 to about 2 months. The D Battery Kit can accommodate two D batteries or up to six AA batteries with the included AA battery adapters.

The AA Battery Kit is available with a single cable or a splitter cable: The single cable can power a single Transmitter v2 or Receiver v2 with the 2xAA battery pack. The splitter cable can be used to power two wireless triggers (e.g. a Transmitter v2 / Receiver v2 pair) with the 2xAA battery pack. The AA battery kit can extend the life of the Camtraptions Wireless Triggers v2 to about 2 weeks.
