Project "Wild in your Backyard" has started!
Have you ever noticed a hole in your garden and wondered if it was a burrow? And what lives there? Or that you can see from the fanned-out leaves that a guest has been there, but don't know which one? And that he even left behind some poo or hair, which you cannot identify, but which makes you very curious? Then the project 'Wild in your Backyard' is perfect for you!
Wild in your Backyard is a project of Wildlife Monitoring Solutions, in cooperation with the Mammal Society, communication agency De Lynx, Wageningen University, and Silvavir. With this project we want to place cameras in as many gardens as possible, which will make visible which special visitors live in those gardens. A camera trap takes pictures of everything that moves. Think of hedgehogs, hares, weasels or maybe even foxes. Photographing wildlife in your own backyard! And the nice thing is that everyone with a garden can participate in this project. For people who do not (yet) have a wildlife camera, we offer the possibility to borrow one from us. You will then receive a complete loaner set. However, you can also choose to order a complete wildlife camera set for this project at a special promotional price. You will then pay much less than usual, and can immediately start working with the wildlife camera in this project.
