The Browning Dark Ops DCL NANO is the latest model from the 2024 Browning collection, and a new addition to the dual lens technology. The Browning Dark Ops DCL NANO has a compact housing covered with a camouflage print, and is easy to distinguish due to the presence of two lenses. The cameratrap has a cover on the lower part of the front where the settings need to be entered. The 1.5-inch internal color viewer makes it possible to see live the view of the cameratrap and to review captured images or videos directly in the field, which makes the set-up of the cameratrap a lot easier. The AA batteries go into a special battery compartment, which is pushed into the bottom of the cameratrap. When using Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries, the camera can last a very long time!

All camera traps are supplied with a nylon strap for mounting, but without any other accessories. However, to get started with your cameratrap right away, you need at least a set of batteries and an SDHC memory card. For this model, this is a standard SDHC memory card of at least Class 10, such as the Sandisk Ultra cards. Additionally, we recommend to use the Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries (not rechargeable), or the Panasonic Eneloop and Eneloop PRO rechargeable NiMH batteries. The advantage of the lithium batteries over the rechargeable Eneloop batteries is that the former are more resistant to winter temperatures. The disadvantage however, is that they are non-rechargeable. If you choose rechargeable batteries, think of the Everactive battery charger, in case you don't have a good battery charger in your house!
In addition to batteries and a memory card, there is a variety of other accessories available for this cameramodel. | Other noteworthy specifications | This camera has different shooting modes in photo mode: in "multi-shot", the camera can take 1-8 photos per trigger with 2 seconds between each photo, while in "Rapid Fire" mode also 1-8 photos can be taken in one trigger, but with only 0.3 seconds between each photo. Furthermore, this camera has the so-called Smart IR Video functionality. This function means that the camera will continue to film as long as movement is detected in front of the camera. So even if the video length is set to 20 seconds, for example, the camera will continue filming until the animal has disappeared from view, or until a total of 2 consecutive minutes have been filmed.
