Browning 2023 Dark Ops Full HD Extreme
The Browning Dark Ops Full HD Extreme is - together with the Browning 2023 Strike Force Full HD Extreme - the new entry-level model from the Browning 2023 series! The only difference lies in the flash mechanism. Like all Dark Ops models, the Dark Ops Full HD Extreme is equipped with an invisible infrared flash, which makes the camera trap less noticeable to both animals and humans, while taking photos or videos. Both the flash- and detection range are adjustable. This comes in handy when you expect an animal to come close before the camera (e.g. at a bird's nest or using a lure). In addition, you can adjust the detection speed, from 0.135 to 0.7 seconds. With these fine-tuned features, you can adjust your camera trap even more to your desired goal. Additional specifications of the Browning Dark Ops Full HD Extreme are:
- Detection range of 24 meters (adjustable)
- Flash range of 27 meters (adjustable)
- Maximum photo resolution of 24MP (interpolated)
- 1080p FHD video resolution (30fps)
- Dynamic video function (Smart IR)
- Time-lapse functionality
- Capture timer, with which you can select a custom time frame to capture events
Browning 2023 Dark Ops Full HD Extreme | Appearance
The Browning Dark Ops Full HD Extreme has an extremely compact housing with a camouflage print. The camera trap has a cover on the lower part of the front where the settings need to be entered. The AA-batteries go into a special battery compartment, which is pushed into the bottom of the camera trap. When using Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries, the camera trap can last a very long time! This model does not have an internal color viewer, which enables you to look back on images directly in the field, or to assist you in aiming the camera more optimally. If you prefer an internal color viewer, have a look at the Browning Spec Ops Elite HP5 or the Browning Recon Force Elite HP5.

Browning 2023 Dark Ops Full HD Extreme | Recommended accessories
All camera traps are supplied with a nylon strap for mounting, but without any other accessories. So, to get started with your camera trap right away, you still need at least a set of batteries and an SD memory card. For this model, this is a standard SDHC or SDXC memory card of at least Class 10, such as the Sandisk Ultra cards. Additionally, we recommend to use the Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries (not rechargeable), or the Panasonic Eneloop and Eneloop PRO rechargeable NiMH batteries. The advantage of the lithium batteries over the rechargeable Eneloop batteries is that the former are more resistant to winter temperatures. The disadvantage however, is that they are non-rechargeable. If you choose rechargeable batteries, think of the Everactive battery charger, in case you don't have a good battery charger in your house!
In addition to batteries and a memory card, there is a variety of other accessories available for this camera model. There are all kinds of special mounting materials such as tree forks and supports, but also accessories that ensure that the camera is placed more securely, such as a security enclosures or a python cable lock. You can select these accessories directly above and place your order as a bundle, but you can also view the complete overview of accessories here.
