The Browning Recon Force 4K EDGE is - together with the Recon Force EDGE - a brand new model from the 2020 Browning collection! This camera model is the successor to the Recon Force 4K (2018) model, and thus the new 4K Ultra HD model from Browning. Because of the high image quality, it is recommended to choose a Class 10 (speed class) SDHC or SDXC memory card with sufficient storage capacity (max. 512GB). The visible infrared flash can be set in two different modes ('Power Save', 'Long Range'). This allows you to efficiently deal with the battery consumption of the camera.

The Browning Recon Force 4K EDGE has a camouflaged housing including an integrated mounting bracket on the back, which facilitates the positioning of your cameratrap. The cameratrap has a cover on the lower part of the front where the settings need to be entered. The 2.0-inch internal color viewer makes it possible to see live the view of the cameratrap and to review captured images or videos directly in the field, which makes the set-up of the cameratrap a lot easier. The AA-batteries go into a special battery compartment, which is pushed into the bottom of the cameratrap. When using Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries, the camera can last a very long time!

All camera traps are supplied without accessories. However, to get started with your cameratrap right away, you need at least a set of batteries and an SDHC memory card. For this model, this is a standard SDHC memory card of at least Class 10, such as the Sandisk Ultra cards. Additionally, we recommend to use the Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries (not rechargeable), or the Panasonic Eneloop and Eneloop PRO rechargeable NiMH batteries. The advantage of the lithium batteries over the rechargeable Eneloop batteries is that the former are more resistant to winter temperatures. The disadvantage however, is that they are non-rechargeable. If you choose rechargeable batteries, think of the Japcell battery charger, in case you don't have a good battery charger in your house!
In addition to batteries and a memory card, there is a variety of other accessories available for this cameramodel.
