The Bolyguard BG962-X30W is a trail camera produced by Boly Media Inc. This camera model features a unique flash mechanism, where you can choose between a white flash (Xenon), or an invisible infrared flash (940nm). With the white flash, the camera produces not only colorful images during the day, but also at night. This leads to stunning images and makes the identification of small mammals and individuals much easier! Unlike the white flash, the invisible infrared flash is less likely to be noticed by humans and animals. The Bolyguard BG962-X30W features a wide-angle lens of no less than 110°. This allows you to have a wider view, which makes it easier to capture the surroundings and one animal - or group of animals - in its entirety. Other specifications of the Bolyguard BG962-X30W are:

The Bolyguard BG962-X30W has a somewhat rougher look compared to the other Bolyguard camera models. The green-camouflaged housing is equipped with two small clips on the right side, in which the AA batteries and settings must be entered. The 2.0 inch color viewer makes it possible to see live the view of the cameralens and to review captured images or videos directly in the field, which makes the set-up of the cameratrap a lot easier. When using Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries, the camera trap can last extra long.

Bolyguard BG962-X30W | Recommended accessories

All camera traps are supplied without accessories. However, to get started with your cameratrap right away, you need at least a set of batteries and an SDHC memory card. For this model this is a standard SDHC memory card of at least Class 10, such as the Sandisk Ultra cards. Additionally, we recommend to use the Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries (not rechargeable), or the Panasonic Eneloop and Eneloop PRO rechargeable NiMH batteries. The advantage of the lithium batteries over the rechargeable Eneloop batteries is that the former are more resistant to winter temperatures. The disadvantage however, is that they are non-rechargeable. If you choose rechargeable batteries, think of the Japcell 8-bank charger, in case you don't have a good battery charger in your house!
